# Brochure Activity: See how couples engage with your brochures
Brochure Activity helps you understand how couples are engaging with your venue’s brochures on Bridebook. See when a couple last opened a tracked brochure, how many times they’ve opened it and how long they’ve spent viewing it.
These insights can help you identify interested couples and decide when to follow up with more information or an invitation to a showround.
###### Who can access Brochure Activity?
Brochure Activity is available to **VenuePro wedding venues in all markets**.
If you have an Essentials or Limited Profile membership, you may see the Brochure Activity section in Couples Manager with an **Upgrade to reveal** prompt. A VenuePro membership is required to view the analytics.
###### What does Brochure Activity show?
| Metric | What it tells you |
| --- | --- |
| **Last opened** | The most recent time the couple opened a tracked brochure. |
| **No. of opens** | How many times the couple has opened your tracked brochures. |
| **Time spent** | The total time the couple has actively spent viewing your tracked brochures. |
Time spent measures active viewing. If a couple switches to another browser tab or stops actively viewing the brochure, the counter pauses.
If you’ve shared more than one tracked brochure with a couple, the figures in the Couples Manager side panel show their **combined activity across those brochures**. You can also view a separate breakdown for each brochure.
##### Where can I find Brochure Activity?
In Couples Activity
Go to **Performance → Couples Activity → Brochure Activity** from the left-hand menu.
Here, you can see which couples have interacted with your tracked brochures. If a couple already has an enquiry or conversation in Couples Manager, you can click through to that conversation to follow up.
The conversation link is only available for couples who have an existing conversation in your inbox.
### In Couples Manager
Open a couple’s conversation in **Couples Manager**, then look for the **Brochure Activity** dropdown in the left-hand information panel, below Showrounds.
The dropdown appears once the couple has interacted with a tracked brochure and shows their last open, number of opens and total viewing time.
To see activity for each brochure, select **View all brochure activity** beneath the totals. This opens a detailed breakdown, including an **Unopened brochures** section showing brochures the couple hasn’t opened yet.
Which brochures can be tracked?
To generate Brochure Activity data, you need to share your brochure through one of Bridebook’s supported tracked brochure options.
**Tracked brochures include:**
- Brochures sent through Bridebook’s brochure request process.
- Tracked brochures included in your welcome message.
- Brochures added to message templates using the **Tracked Brochures** option.
Attaching a PDF as a standard attachment does not automatically make it a tracked brochure, even if the file contains your wedding brochure.
###### How do I add a tracked brochure to a message template?
1. Go to **Settings → Manage Templates**, or select **Manage Templates** from the relevant messaging area.
2. Open the template you’d like to edit.
3. Find the **Tracked Brochures** section and select **Attach a brochure**.
4. Choose a brochure from the existing brochures in your **Pricing and Brochures** section.
5. Save your updated template.
Only brochures added under **Tracked Brochures** will generate Brochure Activity data. You can continue to add photographs, directions and other supporting files under **Other Attachments**.
If your brochure is currently attached under Other Attachments, add it using the Tracked Brochures option and save the template so future interactions can be tracked.
### FAQ's
### Why can’t I see any brochure activity?
Check that you have a VenuePro membership and that the brochure was shared using a supported tracked brochure option.
If you sent it through a message template, make sure it was added under **Tracked Brochures**. PDFs sent using the paperclip icon or added under Other Attachments won’t generate analytics.
The Brochure Activity dropdown in Couples Manager only appears once a couple has interacted with a tracked brochure.
If you have VenuePro, the brochure was shared correctly and you know the couple has opened it, but activity is still missing, contact Customer Service with details of the couple, the brochure and how it was sent.
### Why do I see one set of figures when I’ve sent several brochures?
The figures in the Couples Manager side panel combine activity across the couple’s tracked brochures. Select **View all brochure activity** to see the figures for each brochure separately.
### Can I see which brochures haven’t been opened?
Yes. Open the couple’s conversation, expand **Brochure Activity** and select **View all brochure activity**. Check the **Unopened brochures** section.
### Why is the viewing time lower than I expected?
Viewing time only includes time spent actively viewing the brochure. The counter pauses when the couple switches tabs or stops actively viewing it, so a brochure left open in the background won’t keep adding to the total.
