👥 Managing Your Guest List & Events in Bridebook

Planning your big day (and everything around it!) is simple with Bridebook. From organising your guest list to managing multiple events and collecting RSVPs, everything works together in one place.

👤 Guest List

You can manage your guest list from the Planning section on both the app and desktop.

✨ What you can do:

  • Add guests under Partner 1 and Partner 2 to keep things organised
  • Link guests as couples or families
  • Collect important details like:
    • Dietary requirements
    • Contact information
    • Postal addresses (using the Address Collector)

📅 Managing Your Events

Whether it’s your ceremony, reception, or a post-wedding brunch, you can create and manage multiple events in Bridebook.

🔍 How to access your events:

Go to:
Planning → Wedding Website → Wedding Details → Schedule → Manage My Events

✨ From here you can:

  • Create multiple events (e.g. Ceremony, Evening Reception)
  • Edit event details (time, location, description)
  • Assign guests to specific events

👥 Adding Guests in Bulk

Adding lots of guests? No problem.

📌 How it works:

  • Use the Bulk Add Guest feature
    • Desktop: Top right
    • Mobile: Bottom of the screen
  • Add one guest per line
  • Use “&” to link couples or families

👉 Example:

💌 Wedding Website & RSVPs

Once your guest list and events are set up, you can collect RSVPs through your Wedding Website.

📌 A Guide to Your Bridebook Wedding Website
📌 Everything You Need to Know About RSVPs

⚠️ Important (NEW / often missed):

  • Guests must be assigned to an event to RSVP
  • If new guests are added later, they may not automatically be linked to existing events
➡️ Always double-check event assignments to avoid RSVP issues

✨ What you can do with RSVPs:

  • Share your Wedding Website link with guests
  • Let guests RSVP online
  • Track responses in real time
  • View additional details (dietary needs, notes, etc.)
  • Message guests directly via your inbox

📱 Mobile vs Desktop

You can manage your guest list and events on both.

📌 Best experience:

  • Mobile app:
    • Wedding Website setup
    • RSVP tracking
  • Desktop:
    • Bulk guest management
    • General editing

(Full desktop functionality is improving and expanding)

✨ Key Tips for a Smooth Experience

  • ✔️ Create your events first before sending RSVPs
  • ✔️ Make sure every guest is assigned to an event
  • ✔️ Ask guests to enter their name exactly as it appears on your guest list
  • ✔️ Double-check guest-event links if you update your list later
