What is Bridebook Global and How Do I Use It?

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Bridebook Global! 🌍💒

Bridebook’s global search feature gives you the power to explore wedding venues around the world, unlocking even more possibilities for your special day. Whether you’re planning a destination wedding abroad or simply exploring your options internationally, Bridebook’s customisable planning tools can help you stay organised every step of the way.

And this is just the beginning of our global journey! Over the coming months, we’ll continue expanding into even more countries, bringing more venues, suppliers, and planning inspiration to couples around the world.

 

How do I use Bridebook for my overseas wedding? 

When signing up, simply select your wedding location. You can also update this at any time in your account settings under My Wedding Details.

To browse international venues:

  1. Click the Bridebook logo in the top left corner of the homepage.
  2. Scroll down to Explore Venues Worldwide and select View All.

Or simply go to:  Global Destinations to find out if Bridebook is available in your preferred country.

Changing the country on your profile

To update your wedding country in the app:

  1. Tap the Settings icon in the top right corner.
  2. Go to My Wedding Details.
  3. Use the Select a country dropdown to choose your wedding country and region.

Quick tip: if you’ve already booked a venue in one country, the “Explore Worldwide” section may become locked to that location. To browse elsewhere, simply update your wedding country in My Wedding Details. This changes your search preferences without removing your existing venue.

What can I use Bridebook for abroad?

Bridebook’s wedding planning tools work anywhere in the world, including:

  • Guest List and RSVP: Add, manage, and track guests, invitations, and RSVPs all in one place.
  • Budget: Keep track of spending and manage your wedding costs as you book suppliers.
  • Checklist: Stay organised and never miss a planning milestone.
  • Favourites: Save and shortlist your favourite venues and suppliers.
  • Wedding Website: Create a personalised wedding website to share your story, event details, and updates with your guests all in one place.

Why am I only seeing venues?

As we launch in new countries, our first focus is bringing venues onto the platform so couples can start planning from the ground up. That means that in some regions, you may currently only see venue listings.

Can I search for suppliers worldwide?

We’re actively expanding our supplier directory globally! 💐

If you’re getting married in the UK, you can already browse and connect with trusted suppliers across a wide range of categories, including photographers, florists, cake makers, venues, and more.

For countries outside our current core markets, we recommend using the Bridebook Recommended filter when searching. This helps you discover venues and suppliers that are actively engaging with couples and are among our top recommendations.

We’re also working hard to add more international supplier categories soon, including photographers, florists, stylists, and more — so watch this space!
