Schedule Auto Follow-ups

Auto Follow-ups help you stay in touch with couples by automatically sending a follow-up message when an enquiry has gone unanswered.

This feature saves time, keeps conversations moving, and helps you identify which couples are actively engaged with your business.

📨 Scheduling an Auto Follow-up

You can schedule a follow-up message directly from an enquiry in just a few clicks.

  1. Open the enquiry you'd like to follow up on.
  2. Click Schedule Follow-up next to the Use a Template option.
  3. Select one of your follow-up templates.
  4. Your follow-up message will be scheduled automatically.
⏰ How Auto Follow-ups Work

Each follow-up template has a predefined delay, such as 3 days after scheduling.

If the couple replies before the scheduled follow-up is due to be sent, the follow-up will be cancelled automatically. This prevents unnecessary messages and allows you to continue the conversation personally.

If the couple does not respond, the follow-up message will be sent automatically at the scheduled time.

💡 You can cancel a scheduled follow-up at any time before it is sent.

Follow-up messages appear just like regular messages in the conversation, so couples won't see any indication that the message was sent automatically.

⚙️ Creating an Auto Follow-up Template

To create or manage your follow-up templates:

  1. Click Manage Follow-ups from the follow-up selection window, or select the Settings in your Bridebook account
  2. You'll see a list of your existing follow-up templates here.
  3. Click Add to create a new template.
  4. Enter your message content and choose how many days should pass before the follow-up is sent.
  5. Save your template.
📅 Business Days Only

You can choose to send follow-up messages on business days only (Monday–Friday). If enabled, follow-ups that would otherwise fall on a weekend will be sent on the next business day.

Please note: The number of templates available varies by membership plan. Some templates and higher template limits are only available to VenuePro Classic, Expert, and Platinum members, and SupplierPro Basic and Classic members.
