Our Wedding Budget Tool

Effortlessly manage your wedding finances with our handy Budget tool. As you progress through your wedding planning journey, you’ll always know how much you have left to spend.

Calculating Your Budget 

1) Open your Budget tool in your app's Planning section or head on over to https://bridebook.co.uk/budget to get started on your desktop. 

2) Enter your target wedding budget. Answer as many questions as you can, and if some details are still a mystery, hit "undecided" for now.

3) Click on “Calculate my wedding budget”:

Ta-da! Drumroll, please – your wedding budget breakdown is here! 

At the top of the Budget page, you will then be able to see your total Budget.

As you edit items – adding, editing, or even removing items – your total budget will adjust too. 

Adding New Items

Your budget is divided into 4 categories: “Venues & Suppliers”, “Wedding Dress & Attire”, “Wedding Additionals” and “Other”.  Add as many items as you'd like to these categories.

To add an item:

1) Select “add new item”:

2) Add all the details you know for each item. If you're yet to secure this item, enter an “Est” value. If you’ve got it all booked up, enter the “Booked” value:

Removing Unwanted Items
 To remove any unwanted items from your Budget, click into it and select “Delete this item”:

Editing Your Items

To adjust the Est. or Booked value of an item on your Budget, click on the item...

You can also add additional details under “Payment and Deposit notes”:

Resetting Your Budget

To reset your Budget, hit “Reset your budget”. On desktop, it's a grey button at the top of the page; in app, it's a red box at the very bottom.
